If you need to return an item received as a gift you have a couple of return options. If the order was placed on LaCrosseFootwear.com, we can refund the original amount paid back to the card that was used to place the order. We are also able to offer a return in the form of store credit on LaCrosseFootwear.com, given to the gift recipient, to use toward a different size or item. If you elect to send your return in for store credit, we will give you credit in the amount it was purchased for. Once credit is issued, we will no longer be able to offer a refund back to the purchaser’s card.
Note: If the gift was not purchased on LaCrosseFootwear.com, or you're not sure where it was purchased, please review this article for gift return instructions without a receipt.
Please note that we can only offer store credit for items that are currently listed on LaCrosseFootwear.com and gifted within the last year. We are not able to offer a store credit return option for orders that were originally purchased using Klarna. If a Klarna order is sent in for a gift return, we will refund the purchaser.
In order to receive a refund or store credit, the item must be in new, unused condition, in the original packaging.
Please include a note in the box with your name, email, phone number, a brief explanation of the reason for your return and the LaCrosseFootwear.com order number. Please indicate if you would like a website credit or if you would prefer the refund be applied to original purchaser's payment method.

Keep a copy of your shipment receipt with tracking until the return is processed.
If we are not able to authorize the return, we will send the boots back to you in the same condition received.
If your return meets the criteria outlined above, we will apply a credit to your LaCrosseFootwear.com account and notify you via email. If an account does not already exist, one will be created using the information provided to us with your return.
